Allscripts Acquires Extended Care Information Network
Allscripts, a provider of clinical software, connectivity, and information solutions that physicians use to improve healthcare, has acquired all of the outstanding stock of Extended Care Information Network (ECIN), a provider of hospital care management and discharge planning software. The acquisition combines the two care-management organizations and enables Allscripts to connect another key component of the healthcare delivery system--the exchange of patient information between hospital case managers, physicians outside of the hospital, and the growing number of post-acute care facilities nationwide. Allscripts also announced the creation of a new Hospital Solutions Group within the company, which will provide a suite of products and services under one umbrella, combining ECIN with the company’s emergency department information systems and its existing care management solution, Canopy. Suzuki Selects OEConnection to Advance Parts Supply Chain
OEConnection LLC has entered into an agreement with American Suzuki Motor Corporation to provide Web-based parts procurement and analysis tools to Suzuki corporate parts decision makers and its U.S. network of over 500 dealerships. OEConnection is a provider of Web-based technology solutions for automakers, their affiliated dealers, and others in the automotive parts business. In a move designed to enhance parts supply chain performance and help improve customer satisfaction, OEConnection will provide a comprehensive dealer solution of D2DLink, an online original-equipment parts exchange, with the seamless integration of D2D Plus - Idle and Reporting, a parts marketing tool to help dealers reduce idle inventory and unfreeze valuable working capital. Carlson Deploys Salesforce SaaS CRM
Salesforce.com, a global provider of on-demand business services and technology, announced that Carlson, a company with brands and services in the global travel, cruise, hotel, restaurant, and marketing industries, has improved its operations and increased productivity of staff in 40 countries with Salesforce Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) CRM and Force.com Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS). GTI and Teltronics Join Forces
Government Telecommunications, Inc. (GTI), a small business entity that manages the implementation and installation of voice, data, video, and networking solutions (LAN/WAN/MAN) to government clients throughout the U.S., has entered into a partnering agreement with communications systems manufacturer Teltronics, Inc. GTI, through its government contracts, has provided government agencies with a wide range of professional technical services and telecommunications technologies.
