January Meeting
The Toronto Chapter’s first meeting for 2008 is scheduled for January 10 at the Mariott Airport Hotel. Registration and networking will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30. The featured presenter for the event is Carl DeCoste, vice president of services for Philips Medical Systems Canada. He will discuss growing your services business and increasing customer satisfaction by creating a collaborative single culture within your organization. Key areas to be addressed include:

  • Identifying opportunities for customer growth and satisfaction by moving from a siloed environment to a single, collective culture.
  • Enhancing leadership and management structure: ensuring the right people are in the right chairs.
  • Defining and communicating goals that are tied into the entire organization and creating a balanced scorecard and measurement system.
  • Engaging and training sales and marketing teams: effectively positioning service and establishing value-based pricing principles.
  • Ensuring long-term customer satisfaction with ongoing communication, collective account sales strategies, and teamwork.
