Annual Executive Luncheon
The Chicago Chapter met for its Annual Executive Luncheon at Maggiano’s Restaurant on October 18. Chapter president Jerry Kuziel opened the program with comments on the service challenges faced by businesses and the issues he sees in the medical industry.

Chapter board chairman Walt Gasparovic reviewed the activities of the chapter and introduced featured speaker Bernie Schaeffer, vice president, global repair, integrated supply chain, Motorola. With a financial background and a diverse career at Motorola, Bernie is well qualified to discuss service, its relationship to the corporate mission and goals, and the positioning of service within the organization. During the Q&A session, he offered his insights into how the worth of service can be demonstrated and measured.
